How does your k800 have green and red phone buttons?
This whole phenomena is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a government agenda. (+9, -0) |

I got mine replaced last week at a store here. Cost me ~5 EUR for the spare part. I think "function keypad" is what they call it.

@palex
it is. the function keypad consists of the left and right softkeys, back and C key, internet and activity menu key. here's a pic of my replaced function keypad. i sort of damaged it
New window
i think there's svc center locator in the site, but i'm not sure. tell us where you're from first, in case anyone here lives in your area

@axilom did you find after taking apart your k800 that when you put it together just under the xenon flash, where the back cover joins the phone, there is a little bit of clip visible - you have to turn the phone keypad down to see |

@palex - those clips holding the lens cover on require quite a bit of
pressure to get them to engage - undo the cross head screws, lift it up
a little and start pressing from the on/off button end ... the non flash
side is much easier to get seated than the flash side. Don't try to get all
the clips to engage at once, starting at the top work your way along the
side then do th non-flash side. That's how i got mine to seat right
hope that helps out

nope, theres just one clip that just doesnt want to sit in, it's the silver one in the middle right under the flash and it seems to become more visible when i put the screw back in.
do you think it could be because thats where i slid the credit card under(e.g like bent/ worn the plastic)? and will it do any long term damage to the phone if i leave it as it is?
