Its a sad fact that brands like Samsung doesn't have any active communities. When it comes to support it just boils down to Nokia & SE. Nokia has a huge developer support, while SE have a huge community support.

Else you'll have to pick up any of the Samsung models running WindowsMobile or Symbian OS.

hmmm for the moment i can think of 4 things

1. Why doesn't it show you who calls?? it just says "Okänd" ("Unknown" in english) BUT after the call i can see the numbers in the call list
2. How to install java apps??
3. Is there a way to transfer music to it without using multiple programs?? (WMP seems to break up the ID-tags when converting and DBPoweramp puts the songs in the wrong folder so they doesn't show up on the phone)
4. what about fullscreen viewing of pictures and videos?? (when looking on them they only take the middle of the screen, thats like 100 pixels )

to me it looks like samsung developed this phone over a weekend, it feels so "rushed"

any answers will be appreciated

try googling for expansys and howard forumns, these should give you your answers...especially about installing java apps n games...

have recently got a samsung phone as I was getting fed up of the breaking joysticks on my se's, I might go back to SE this year though as samsung battery life is not great! plus they are a pain to install java stuff on!

cheers

Couldn't you hav got SE's W710/W810/W850 or any other flip opens instead of changin to samsung!
If u feel u wanna try any fone other than SE, its better to get one frm Nokia, as Nokia hav good SW support.

it might not be a good idea - but then again it might...

latley it seems like we have been getting requests for other cell sites, as in moto, samsung etc.

maybe we can make a sticky in the Other Manufacters section giving liek 2 or 3 references to other websites for moto, samsung, nokia etc. im not trying what so ever to push people away from esato, but it would create many less threads. what do you think mods?
Its good to be back!
