Since screensavers are animated, can I use animated smileys?

Also, is it possible to make animated pictures myself?

No, I don't think you can use the animated smiles as Screensaver.

I use the smiley that throws up as a screensaver on my T68i. I just right-clicked on the smiley and choosed "saved as". Then I edited it in Adobe Photoshop to the right size (101x80). Then I saved it as a GIF. I think it was a GIF before too. Then I sent it to the phone via IR.

When I do like you discribed I get 15 simple black/white cartoon animations to choose from. I can insert them in my sms and send it to someone that has EMS...

yes, you can use any animated gif file as a screensaver... as long as it's in the correct size.

easiest way is to find an animated smiley gif on the net and just upload it to www.matrixm.com. then you can download it via wap for free.

I get the 15 animations in the
SMS > Insert Item > Animation
but how about
SMS > Insert Item > My Anim? Any idea how can I add animation in this menu?

I used an animation that is bigger than that size as a screensaver and it worked fine.
