So there is no free chat client for UIQ3 (P990i) that can handle multiple accounts (MSN, Yahoo, Gmail, AIM, Skype etc.)?
I've browsed the archives but can't find much more than mentions of Agile Messenger (not free), IMPlus (not free) and ones that just handle MSN. |

Thats it for the moment, if you don't want java files. There is also TipicMe (java) and some others i can't remember. |

All you need is to find a free IRC client. Then you can connect to BitlBee (http://www.bitlbee.org/) in order to gain access to ICQ, AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Jabber, ... from plain IRC. |

if u can find it, the Agile version 3.79 is still working and it's a beta versio, or alpha, whatever. I have it and with some minor issue, works a treat. And of course it' free. |

I have it but the phone says the file may not be installed any longer as soon as I try to install it. |

I assume u tried uninstalling the one on the phone. Maybe this is the cause?
Or maybe your file on the PC is corrupt somehow?! |

I'm guessing the latter. |

I know i may get into trouble for this, but i know a website that has agile messenger and the serial. Would you like the link? Sorry if this is against the rules.

the moment u will try to use that serial, the program will check it's database on the agile servers, and if I remember correctly, duh, only one IMEI can be registered per license. so u may end up re-installing it, or not being able to use it at all. |

OK fair enough, i haven't got it installed on my phone but i was just asking if anyone wanted it to try.
EDIT: I think the version that i have found is a cracked version.

All you need is MXit, it's a free chat program that supports MSN, Google Talk and I think Yahoo contacts.
Just head on down to http://www.mxit.co.za/wap on your mobile and download it.
It's pretty much the best mobile chat program out there, and it supports nearly all phones. Go check it out.

MXit does not work for me. I cannot input my cell number as "correct".
I've tried all kinds of things, but no go.
Agile all the way I say... |
