theres an audio file on my K790a in the phone memory that i do not want and im unable to delete it.

the file shows up in the music player and i do not want to here it randomly when im listen to my music. how would i go about removing it?

the file is called... Audio16bit. It's the Rogers sound effect :S

In the file browser its named Rogers, in the music player its named Audio16bit.

Would the only way be to debrand it?

i think this ( http://www.getjar.com/products/4844/MobyExplorer ) java program would be able to help u, put it in the "other" folder of ur fone and install it, its a demo version so it'l keep asking you to register, and then your fone would keep asking you permission to write/read user file, but anyway just go to the file you want to delete and edit the properties so that you untick the read only selection of that file, then you shud be able to delete it.

however I don't think that will help. as I understand it BULL3TPR00F's phone is a rogers (a canadian GSM phone provider) branded phone and this is most likely a predefined item in the firmware from what I have understood here, so yes, debranding would be the only option

you need the MobyExplorer.jar, not the .jad

ah! sorry, normally the jad file just points to the jar file but I just checked this jad and it has a certificate in it which I guess is making the difference (sorry, I haven't run this app before)

I just tried opening the jad and it installed fine on my M600 and looks to be working correctly. have you got "show hidden" in the settings checked?
