K800i firmware/flash problem! Please Help! |

I bought a k800i over eBAY (I live in Venezuela) and after a month I was doing a sim swap (I have two sim cards) and the phone went dead... (it never turned on again) Basically the phone doesn't turn on and on the side (where the IR port is) a red led flashes sometimes once sometimes 6 times... In other forums I read that it was a firmware problem and that my phone needed to be flashed... I took it over for repairs here in venezuela and since this phone is NOT AVAILABE here they told me to call SE.. I did that and Customer Service told me to call SE USA because here in Venezuela would be impossible to flash it because they work with the K790 not with the K800 (it has UMTS) ... So, I called SE USA and they told me to send it in and pay 100$ for the fix... I tried using the SEUS but it didn't work (i'll try it again later on).. My question is: I have the USB cable.. is there any software that I can use to do this? To flash and/or reinstall the firmware or software????? PLEASEEEE HELP!!!!!!! |
