Is there anyway to "turn on the light" in the dusplay on a K800i?
Reason i ask cus' i want it to stay on when put in the holder when i am dring either my mc or my car.

Ane "secrets" out there?

I know the lights stay on permanently when its hooked up to the data cable. Donīt know if this helps tho:

I have the origenal holder, both on the motorcycle and in my car.
There is connectors on the bottom there. But it will not stay on, the lights i men...

I remember there was a "hack" for it on 750i somwhere.... but can not remember where i saw it, ....

Yeah it'd be sweet if you could modify the backlight time. If you find anything please post it here, I'd like to be able to lengthen mine so it stays on while playing vids etc.

There is no way to get the light on a K800i to stay on

Unlike all the other Sony Phones, The K800i has a flash and not a light

Therefore it wont stay on [addsig]

I would assume that if the cars handsfree kit was connected to the car battery then it would permanently stay on when connected.

maybe thats what you need to do
