Good news guys this ones coming to a shop near you soon
Samsung have announced at CES 2007 that they will be selling their monstrous Samsung SCH-B600 10 megapixel camera phone worldwide. The B600 was announced at last year's CeBIT, but was only sold in Korea.
Now, the company has decided that the rest of the world should also share the incredible technological goodies offered by the behemoth.
So what do you get with the Samsung B600? Only a 10 megapixel camera with autofocus and 3x optical zoom, mobile TV support including Picture In Picture feature, 16 million colour screen, MP3 player, MPEG video camera, and on and on!
lets hope SAMSUNG don't block MP3 Ringtones on this one

10mp is really pointless imo, i am happy with 6mp in my digicam,but almost the double size in a fone? Insane.

its an overkill... like ive said before... not even an average photographer would love using a 10mp cam inside a phone.
Bobba is right.. it is pointless. Id rather bring my EOS for that, and it comes with different peripherals to give me the images i want.
then again others would say... yea yea yea, but this product is an all-in-one device. everyone can make something out of it. (i hope so)
5mp is more than just enough.
and besides, what market is the target for this product anyway....

I hope SE will produce a phone with optical zoom using Cyber-shot technolocy that applied in Sony DSC-Txx series, you know, the optical zoom but the lense is, how to say it, not moving out from the body of the camera. Got what I mean?
I recently bought a Sony DSC-T10, it has 3x optical zoom.

And, whether the camera is amazing or not, it will creat competition......

Nice specs but its a overweight for me.
10MP is a bit much for the average person - you can get away with 2.0MP for 8 X 6 prints for your album.
Great if you require large prints and I bet the video recording quality is good too.

BTW, it records QVGA video, @ 15-30fps....
And the lense is actually a sensible size!:

i remember seing images taken from the old 7 or 8mp version at night at stars and fireworks, wow, they were fantastic photos, extremely clear.
