Nope and dont really need one since it has a touchscreen. You can navigate quicker than with a joystick IMO...
meh lets hope they improved the logic in navigation with hardkeys and the jog dial....

i hope it was in the market this month.
that would be a neck and neck match against N95.
i must say, this looks pretty solid. what M600 was supposed to be in the first place.

My small addition: todayscreen with all 15 shortcuts filled. Pick whatever program or task you want and add it to this menu.
I ran all the programs shown simultaniously without a problem. The P700i proto I used, just dipped under 50MB of free ram!!! (78 MB free at startup)

Thanks PK for all your work!
When you're done with all the PMs, would you mind sharing more detailed info on the battery capacity? Video quality, along with resolution? Is the screen size exactly the same as M600 or like P990? Also Is the Wifi b/g? Thanks in advance! |

Yeah, you've got to love SE for their attention to detail. Unlike the P990 the homescreen now displays info in the Today bar, there were 5 fixed icons in P990, now theres 15 user configurable, space2 created that excellent StickIt app and in the p990 you could not touch the corners because the screen was too deep, in p700 looks like you can easily.
Those were all my problems with the P990 homescreen (and I complained plently about it in the symbian thread ), but now they are fixed!! |

I stayed with my P900 for 3 years now because P910, P990, M600 and W950 where not good enough succesors.
Now the P700 is definetely my next phone.
Thanks PK for the pics. They are super sexy. Go go SE. |

@londonlad123
I'm sorry, but I don't have the P700i testsample in my posession anymore. I played with it on the 12th of april.
I made another screenshot then, showing the statussceen and free memory after startup:
Now I've shown you everything I had on the P700i.
Like you, I'm waiting for SE to announce the real deal now..... Trust me, the wait is even harder after playing with it |

@Gok
- Battery capacity: standard bst-33: 950mAh (no improvement compared to M600i/W950i)
- Video quality: playback or recording? PB: very good. Rec: QVGA (320x240) pretty decent. I coulden't figure out the framerate. Best guess: +20 fps
- Screensize identical to M600i. Newer type with larger viewing angles and better visible in bright light
- WiFi is b/g |
