Menu>
Phone book>
Advanced>
Copy all to SIM

You can change the order that the names are located in the memory by going to the Position list option, depending on the size of your SIM memory. If it's 100 names then the first 100 names on the list will be copied to the SIM. This is also how you change your Speed Dials that number 1-10.

cant we add a fresh new entry in the SIM phone.
Eg. I want to add a name which does not exist in my phonebook on my phone. Cant i add this new entry in the SIM book instead of phone memory.
Also ...if i want to transfer a paticualr name in the SIM isisnt that possible? I do not want to copy all entries of phonebook to SIM, just want to transfer a paticular one.

Help on both the issues...
thanks.....

Not sure if it's possible using only the phone but I manage my contacts using the software provided by

You can drag and drop your contacts between phone memory and Sim card then you can re-sync the data.

i know the older ericsson phones would save to your sim and u'd have to copy it to your phone... i liked that...

but now, the newer ones save to your phone instead of sim... and it can't be changed..

the t66/t600 saves to sim though...

I beg your pardon, but it IS possible to add a particular contact to the SIM-card.

I have t68m(ie) with R5D007 Software.
Go to:
Menu>Phonebook>Manage SIM>Add to Sim.

Hope this helps.

If you read the previous post, it tells you.

You need to upgrade the SW in your T68i to R5D007.
