silicone case make phone heat up? |

hi, mite b a stupid question but neway......i recently bought 1 of those silicone cases for my sony ericsson k610i and 2day i noticed while charging it that the battery felt really hot. ive taken the cover off now but woz wondering if it could do any damage to it?

the fone ( actually the batt ) gets usually warm ( hot 9 aslong u charge it, imo its better to charge it without the case

okay then ill either charge it without case or in airconditioned room coz 2day is about 35 degrees. didnt relly wanna have 2 take the case on and off as itll get loose but better than havin a stuffd fone. thx for ur help:)

just for sure, if it is and u think that the fone gets way too hot, let check the batt and the charger. i dont say its faulty and as mentioend before its normal that it gets warmer...

okay well the phone is brand new because i just got a stuffed 1 replaced. it wudnt turn on just red light on top blinked 6 times(this actually happened after i followed this guide:(link removed) my problem is written on page 25.
but i am using the old charger still.....new battery tho. i think itll b fine it wasnt extremely hot or nething just hotter than i expected. the case is off now and it doesnt feel very hot at all.

yeah, without a case it should be fine. how do u like the fone itself?

i find the phone really good, upgraded to the latest firmware using seus (its with hutch 3g). doesnt lag, mp3 player is great, i bought the hpm-70 walkman headphones aswell and sound quality is excellent. only thing i can knock the phone for is its poor camera performace in low light conditions....even my u8360 delivered clearer pictures and its a $170 phone and only 1.3mp cam. java games pretty gud on it aswel |
