how do you determine if the LCD in your t68i have been changed ?
will the LCD SW version (test & current) in the SW Info change ?

@pocholo...it's very difficult for us to checked and determined if our t68' s lcd has already been changed. there's no indicator for that unless you open your phone (risky). nway where did you purchase your unit? is there any problem with the lcd?

i had my LCD replaced but i'm not very sure i got a brand new LCD. anyway, nothings wrong with the phone or it's display. i just want to be very positive if it was realy changed at all or only the glass (face).

btw, how can i put the T68 logo below my name like the others ?

that will come as soon as u've got a post count of 10 or more, that will b a fade T68 and the more u post, the more darker it will become.

you can't really see if the lcd is changed... the lcd version number in the servicemenu are the always the same... however... if you have used one of the first T68m on the market and now have gotten the lcd changed you will probably notice the change, cause the newest lcd's are a bit brighter than the old ones (latest hw version on the lcd display is R5A).. you might notice this difference even if you have a newer phone..

go to change preferences tab and select the phone you have there... as you post it will start showing more defined....

where did u have it replaced? was it an authorized ericsson service point? or just "some" shop?
if it was just "some" shop... then most probably that aint new or orig..

Don't scare the dude. Sometimes these small shops does a pretty decent job because they want more business from mouth to mouth referrals.

well .... it was repaired at an authorized SE service center but was done unofficially, meaning very little charge for a lot of replacements.
