Hello,
I know and I'm sorry that I'm posting a message in the wrong forum but I've tried in some specific Pocket PC sites and I did not find any solution, and there are a lot of iPAQ users in esato.
I've updated my Pocket PC 2002 with the last Service pack (downloaded from the net, Compaq site); it was quite easy but I had to free some memory, just to leave enough temporary space for the ROM upgrader.
Unfortunately doing this I've unistalled WMP 8, that I had in the original Pocket PC 2002 CD from Compaq (not the last Service Pack, but the very first one); I'm not able to find that CD anymore (I think I've trashed it some months ago, 'cause apart from WMP 8, everything was is useless, once a new ROM is out).
Now, Microsoft does not allows the download of WMP 8 (just the WMP 8 Update can be downloaded, but it needs WMP , to ensure that everybody has to buy the Pocket PC 2002, but I DID IT!!!
And my question is: does anybody know where to find it, or is there anybody that has the original CD and could send me WMP 8?
I will really appreciate it,
TIA.
PS: I'm very bored about Microsoft policy.
