I bought this phone in italy. It's a great phone but unfortunately it's sim locked so I cannot use it here in Romania. I've been to some phone shops today for unlocking and none could help me because they said the soft is too new. So what I'm asking if is anyone could help me unlock it. I have a USB cable and I can work my way on the computer. What I can't do is buy Davinci because we don't have paypal here in romania and it's complicated to get myself a credit card now. Please help I'm kinda desperate.

My imei is : ###
It's locked on Italy 3.

Thank you,
Andrei

welcome here

first of all edit your post and delete your imei nr, and never ver make it public again to avoid any problems later.

sadly there is no way to unlock it, only if u buy off the code from the operator itself.

i never used such sites, so i cannot give u any good advice. i understand your situation, but imo the best would be to wait or sell it. donnow why se choose this solution to protect their fones, a brand like nokia, what sell tons of fones every day can allowe itself a bb5 system to lock their fones, but se is still miles away from it.

Well i've talked to some guys in my town. They say they can do it.but for like 80 euros and I paid about 150 on the phone...that's not too good..Any other ideas ? Do you think anytime soon will it be unlockable at a reasonable price?

no. the only solution is to get the unlock code, so those guys might have some sources to get it from "3" itself, but i wouldnt trust them...
