I have one, and i am more then happy ..
According to me its way nicer than the T68 .. more good looking, faster, and better screen.
And the ones who is saying that the T68 has much better features!.. WHAT features?.. bluetooth? .. how often do you use that if you dont have a PDA or Laptop with BT-connection.
Voicedial? .. Well i surely dont use voicedial, cause it so embarrasing. Feels really dumb to stand in public talking to your phone ..
Ive had plenty of phones before with voicedieal, and never used it..
And what about that WONDERFUL screensaverfunction HAHA.. what a joke!
And really!.. How fun is it to watch a picture phonebook full of smurfs.. cause the lack of colors, all pictures turn blue or redish .. and you actually cant see the picture good at all!
Nah.. Id rather stick to functions that i really USE rather than functions i never use, but still brag about.
like SPEED, java, StereoFM radio, way better screen and nicer design |

do you really actually talk to your phone? so what if someone calls you and you are the streets? that does make you feel dumb?
bluetooth....honestly i didnt use it but im glad t68 have it and just in case i need it, atleast it is there. but if you are happy with 7210 i think it will also make you sad because 7250 is coming. what a waste of money. |

Its a big difference between saying a name to the phone and look like a fool , or just talking in it..
And i dont feel fooled at all.. the 7250 is an ugly phone where the only differance to the 7210 is more memory and a camera!
Btw: Did YOU feel sad when the T68I came out???

Sure the 7210 has more colors, Java and poly-tones, but that's it in all other areas it looses bigtime to the T68. And what's the use of the 7210 color screen when you can't have your own themes, you don't have a picture phonenbook. Besides if you enhance the pictures in Photoshop before you transfer the pictures to the T68, you get very good looking photos on the T68. I have very nice pictures of most people that use to call me.
And the same old Nokia menus which are really showing it's age. No structure at all in the menus, they are just listing one item at a time. That was good on the old Nokia's but today, with a big color screen it's a big waste.
And we shouldn't even mention the MMS implementation of the 7210. T68 and T300 is way ahead of the 7210 in this area. With the SE phones you see how the MMS will look while editing it.
I think it's more fair to compare the T300 with the 7210. But I think even the T300 beats the 7210. The 7210 has more colors than the T300, but nothing else. The Mophun engine is very nice and fast. It has picture phonebook, much better polyphonic ringtones, you can make your own themes, and the MMS is much better implemented. |

Yes, I agree with you!
I've had my T68 for quite a while and thought that it was time to get a new phone. Then I first bought the T300, and I really liked it.. but so did also my sister.. so she laid her hands on it and whops, it was gone.
I then bought the "brand new fancy" N 7210, but I am really disapointed. The polyphonic ringtones are so far away from the sound of T300 that it can get, the 4096 colour screen is not that very much better than T68/T300, MMS is a really disaster compared to T68/T300, no picture phonebook, no way to change the black text in the "desktop" (i.e the clock, menu and name and operator name) to other colours, the games are a joke compared to T300.
Nokia is actually NOT using the advantage of the colour screen to update the overview of the menus and to have themes or likely.
Another advantage SE has with both T68 and T300 is the opportunity so send/recieve photos and ringsignals between other handsets via IR and/or BT.
Nokia 7210 does NOT!

Then again the T300 has very limited gamepossibilities, whilst 7210 has real java! wich makes it possible to use an unlimited number of different applications and games..
And why does everyone say that 7210 doesnt take advantage of the colors? .. there is a way to change menu colors.. and what is the meaning to change the "menu" and "names" button-color?
Then again everyone says that Nokia is still using their same menusystems .. The ONLY difference between the T68 and the 7210 is that the menu-icons is scrolled one by one, sideways on the 7210 .. when you press an icon on the t68.. its still the same old menus!!
About the polyphonic tones on the Nokia .. at first, they are WAY louder than the T300.. wich is a large plus!
And the only reason they sound better than the 7210 is becuase the T300 has more channels and instruments.
Its pretty laughable to compare the T300 with the Nokia 7210 ..
The T300 is by far much larger and heavier than the Nokia ..
The T300 doesnt only look like a babyblue brick.. it really IS one too!
T 300 doesnt have Java, Speakerphone, or FM-radio, and further on its SLOW as hell .. just like the T28, T39, T68 and so on!!
The T300 is a kidsphone.. and a lot of annoying kids will run around with it.. this will not happen with the 7210.. not as much anyways! |

Go try a 7210 for yourself, and decide
I personally love the 7210:
It's neat (the blue version is beautiful),
fast,
it has a very bright screen,
sharp colors,
FM stereo radio,
Handsfree loudspeaker,
J2ME (there is a mario-like game one can download for free, and many other applications),
screen themes,
wallpaper,
tri-band,
no bluetooth but it has IrDA and a USB port (more than enough!),
poly ringtones (SP Midi i.e. for MMS format) and there are tons of them you can get using wap/internet+PC suite.
GPRS with 2 uplink timeslots (twice as fast as T68i to send something)
No voice dial, but these are useless -to me- Much faster to use the phonebook normally...
I like T68i too, but:
it looks a bit fatty (though the design is nice too), old and common now
It is not customizable (no Java)
No poly ringtone (buh)
Cheap color screen (it is to colors what Lada is to cars )
No FM radio
Though, it still stands competition
and...
You'll need to reflash it 7 times, get it replaced 5 times

the T68 is still better because of better softwear and interface. the only thing good on the 7210 is the colour screen and some people like the design. just go for the T68 most people here have it and we love it!
With Ericsson and Nokia gone: we must keep their spirits alive and buy JOLLA or YOTA |

When coming to looks and design, it's really up to the people themselves to decide if they find a product attractive or not, NOT you!
The 7210 is double the price of T300, but not half the size.
I seems like you take the criticism, and others point of view personally.. Why?

I love my 7210!!!!!
The screen is brilliant!! (Sharp, bright,...) (The white is white, not yellow as the T68i)
The sounds are superb!!
The real JAVA!! (I have a Telnet service, E-mail, VNC, Tetris and Pacman)
The Handsfree is a must to have for a phone, once you use it, you will not speak without. (While you're in a quiet place)
The building quality is incredible (Mine Made in Finland)
I think that Nokia made a Very Very good phone!
Long live to The Nokia 7210
