Say the newbie has a problem and needs more then 3 posts?
Also, what is a newbie? Say they knew a lot of stuff form another forum and signed up on this one but was limited to only 3 posts a day, its kid of counter productive also how far can someone be described as a newbie?
Edit: Ignore me, i though you were suggesting that it be implimented!

yes, the number of posts on the first day is limited
thats another method that has been implemented to try to reduce spammers

@stargate26 had some questions and i ponted him to ask it in the forum, but he wrote, that he can post only 3 times a day here... dont really get what he ment with it

I think the MAIN focus on there has a BIT something to do with those one-day-registrants here . . . mostly posting about their Mobile Phones For Sale . . . . sites

In my experience I have found that most spammers just make one post, so I am wondering how effective this system is.
On SE-NSE we thought about limiting the number of links someone can include in a post until they have made a certain number of posts. Of course some spammers only include one link, but we have had more than a few who have included a large number of links.

@hutchygears, this is only limited for the 1st day and you can apparently make only 3 posts on the first day.

apparently it is but i remember asking about it as it only let me post 3 times per day until i had over 10 posts
