Hi all,
i recently had my old k750i die due to water corrusion (completely my fault) ... but i decided since i like the phone to buy another k750i to replace it.
however heres my problem ..if i took pics on my old phone could zoom in on large images and also the file size was always approx 500kb on the NEW one i CANNOT zoom in on large images only medium or small images. and on large they only save as 350kbs approx ...so i have a suspistion that i'm missing an option somewhere. can anyone help me please? not being able to zoom in on large images in a pain

hi
Well the new k750i now-a-days has the zoom problem. You will have to live with that......Or you can try to go back to some older firmware.
Mine is a year old phone with the latest firmware but i can zoom even in large image mode.
One thing more (dont like to gloat but...) i also got my phone damaged due to water ingress. But i did a cunning thing:-
in my city i had two SE service centres - i went to first and he immediately told that this is water damaged and the warranty will not cover it and repair charges will be more....
so i went home with my mobile and opened it on my own and clean all the greenish corrosion and went to this other service centre....he couldnt find anything wrong except that by now my display had gone totally...but then he showed me the litmus they attach near the SIM slot which turns pink when it comes in contact with water...
so again i went home recleaned the phone and removed the litmus ...
then went to the neighbouring city and submitted my phone to that SE service centre...and voila....the dumbasses over there thougt it was manufacturing defect and i got a new phone.....free.......

I think it's a firmware issue, certain firmware versions will allow you to zoom on the highest size image, others won't, I think the later versions for some reason don't let you zoom. Good though that the filesize is a bit smaller.
I'm not so good on the firmware side of things, hopefully someone else will be along to explain it a bit better than me!
