Hi,

I read on a forum here that it would be possible to upgrade the MCA-10 camera to get more possibilities, like previewing the picture on the screen and possibly adding pictures to 'myPictures' and contacts.

Has anybody actually done this or seen it 'happen' and if what are the new possibilities?

adding pics to contacts is a handset sw feature on 'i' versions - not 'm' - use the search as I remember the same thing - I can't be assed to search.

T300 should have a new clip-on built for it.

Adding pict to contact is indeed an 'i' option. The problem is that I can't even view, let alone linking, the pictures. They just stay in the Cam at full (352*288) res.

What is the so called 'limited use' of the MCA25-T68i combo? It's features can only be fully used on the Tx00-model

I have a T68m (or did until my new m to 'i' version just came today) & MCA-10 view - when I take a pic with it in 'M' - it can be shown on the screen after the pic has been taken - there is no preview on the display like the i & mca-20 - when 10-view camera is in i - it says cannot open pics or something - then transfers the pic onto the phone memory where it can then be selected & viewed etc - so the camera saves the pics - as does the phone. Ok, so no zoom for us 'oldies'. I can live with that. The zoom is probably digital anyway. That's what I have a real digicam for.
