Anybody knows how to format the MMC card under win xp
now when trying to play mp3 files on my ericsson phone
it writes in the display : File System Error
Files can be played through my new USB card reader - no problems....
Pleeeeease heelp!

You just right-click on the usb card reader and choose \"format\". It works for me. ;-)

Hi!

have u tried to format another card?. I´m using XP and the HPM-10, and I know alot of things are f**ked, but I havn´t experieced this problem.

yeh i had that prob after compressiong the mmc - it appeared to partition it aswell?? i just formatted it as explined earlier and prob resolved - is it original card or 3rd party mmc?? it may have died [addsig]

It is an original ericsson 32MB card - how did you format it - have anybody got this working under win xp - otherwise will throw away this mp3 thing!!!

wow, you guys sure have to go through a lot of pain with these things... why not buy a regular mp3 player, like a nomad or something... i got a very cool sony, it has a built in 64mb memory, no cards nothing like that... it is smaller than a lighter.. works for me..
