Could you give your opinions about these 3 accessories for the W950i. |

Hi !
I bought 4 accessories for my W950i and would value some opinions...
1. AG Crystal Case for W950i On the side where the volume controls are, the finish is not so great. Where the halves come together on the other side is very good and flush....
Question - Am I expecting too much ! Do others with crystal cases have this kind of blemish ?
2. Krussel Case for W950i. On this accessory, the clear plastic window is scratched and marked. Yes, when I use it, I can expect it to get marked, but this case is brand new.
Question - I wonder again, if I am expecting too much with this window, but I do think it should be perfect.....
3. Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector.
I am sure this is the genuine article....
But I cannot separate the 'backing layer' at all ! I have examined it with a magnifying glass and have tried many tmes to separate a backing layer.
The instructions tell me clearly that there is a backing layer...If I put the protector on the W950i screen, but tapping the screen gives no response !
Question - Well, can't think of one ! lol!! But anyone with experience of these perhaps could give me good advice!
4. Sony Ericsson in-car charger is good!
Any advice is much appreciated..
Tomorrow morning, I will telephone the company and ask them about these products.

My p800,900,910i,990,n70 all have a martins fields screen protector on.My p900,910,990,6310,n70,w850 all have krusell cases.Good choice.Not sure about the crystal case though.

I think you've got everything there to keep the phone protected...don't see why you would need a leather case though since you have already got the plastic shell?

1) Just adds thickness to the phone and a bit unsightley.
2) Cant stand leather cases (best I ever saw was the Sirocco 8800 thats about it)
3)Martin Fields all the way thats all the really needs protecting on this baby.( Should you scratch the housing cnn has replacements.)

I have no experience with screen protectors. As for the crystal case, I have ordered one for my W850i, since the impessions of the Fone Skin (crystal case) for my previous phone - T100 were overall satisfying because it prevents scratches and dirt, thus allowing greater freedom when using the phone. With it I didn't have to worry too much about the surfaces on which I put it.

It is how to separate the backing of the Martin Fields that I do not understand..
there was no micro surgery laser included in the pack!

yes, that is what I am thinking...
It's the Martin Fields, and the blemish on the crytsal case issues that are bothering me...
@mobse - did the edges of the halves come together without any blemishes showing? i.e. a nice clean join?

The martins field protector is easy to peel apart.I gave one to my mate and he thought i gave him nothing until he managed to separate the backing from the protector. |

I just got my Martin Fields end of last week. That packaging is how they come, looks really dodgy and fake but their not.
You remove and throw away the saide that has the little sticker saying remove backing on it.
If you are having trouble, get some scotch tape (sellotape) which you will need to install the protector with anyway, put some tape on the backing and hole the other end to pull apart.

I can't get the edges perfect, some slight bubbles but their very small and don't affect the main screen.
It does make it a little bit harder to press on the screen but it's worth it for not scratching the scree. |

As a confirmed Krusell case Fan boy i i have never received a case with scratches on any part of it it should be mint at least when you get.
I have and would never use a crystal case but it's down to individual choice.
No idea on the screen protector but i can't even open the blasted carrier bags in the supermarket without assistance, but it shouldn't be that difficult that's just not right IMO.

i use screen protector under my crystyl case as i get sic of the bulkeness it gives my handset, i normally take the case off and just have da screen protector on and as said in this thread just replace your housing when its gettin thrashed, just my opinion anyways

Martin Fields is the best screen protector IMHO. Just go to a phone accessories shop and ask them to apply the protector to your W950 if you can't do that by yourself.
Krussel is good enough for a letter case, I have one for my W800. But for W950, I suggest you buy a Covertec or Piel Frama.
And for crystal, you'd better don't use it as it may scratch your W950.
I have one for my P990 from Brando and its bottom part is crack.
