I have just called singlepoint AGAIN! to find out what story they will give this time for the non-mms service.
They have said again that they have just got the system at there end and expect to be up and running for January.
So it looks like we have to wait then probably pay through the nose to use it, why are all these companies so shit!!!??? |

I won't be crying anymore cos I just sent in my 30 day notice to terminate my contract with Singlepoint
Gonna go with o2 £15 a month with 500 off peak mins, 500 wap mins, 500 tx, 0.5mb free for GPRS with extra megs at £3 (but I'll just stick to wap since I will have just over 8 hours a month!)
bubububye Singlepoint!!

Im on the 13.99 600mins o/peak 50 txt, just got me free T68 off them.
I may have to leave them also soon, depends on better deals, they may want there phone back if I leave.

@skeley69
if you look at there sim only tarrifs on o2 online shop then that deal is there for £15 a month (still 12 months minimum as standard but you don't get a handset as part of the deal, whereas the £20 one you MUST buy a handset with it)

Problem is that I have just started a new contract with singlepoint and received a new T68 off of them, may be stuck with them for another year.

but you haven't done bad considering they gave you a free t68 on a £14/month tariff. 'tsall swings n roundabouts. |

cancel it. you said you wanted to leave anyway, so don't pay into anything that will only benifit you in 12 monts time. if you try to cancel after 12 months, they normally manage to pull some crazy deal out of the woodwork anyway. |

I agree, cancel Phones 4 Life as it's a con. My mate did it and you get really old phones.
They DO do MMS and GPRS at the moment though as I phoned up the other day for it and they were going to switch me on but I refused to pay £7.99 per month plus paying for any data downloads.
I too will be cancelling next May when contract is up. I'm going back to O2 direct as I was before as their customer service etc is much better.

did you know that o2 cannot tell if a call is a cross network call or not? they base their info on which network a phone no started out on, not where it is currently. therefore, you can get an o2 no and move to a different network and still be charged at o2-o2 rates, but if all your mates move their nos to o2 you would still be charged cross network rates to ring them after your free minutes?
not saying singlepoint are good (they're not), but they're not the crappest network |

well on my phones 4 life I got a T68 so they dont do crap phones.
Problem is if you look in the back of the Sun I could get the T68 free on another network, may have to just do that at end of contract but will probably have to change me number though.
