OK peeps can anyone confirm this...
My sis is getting a T68i and i read on esato a while back that if u get it from CPW you could get it cheap on an expensive tariff and after a couple of months change the tariff down to a cheaper one...
I believe this is still the case but just wondering if anyone can confirm this for me???
Thanks
Ed

I work for CPW so I can confirm that the T68i is free on O2 Leisure Time Plus (£20 p/m rental) or above, you can also change tariff after 3 months, no catch. Better be quick though, at the rate we're selling these they won't last forever! |

just change the talkplan anyway - how will the network charge u for a handset u paid for in CPW??? Some networks will only allow a talkplan change after 1 month because of the billing system.

So this is a dead cert is it?
I can start off a really expensive brand new 12 month contract so I can get the phone I want for free, or significantly cheaper, wait 3 months and then ask them to downgrade my tariff because "It doesn't suit me"?

yeh orange had a lot of dealers telling customers to do that - and it does make sense - why pay £100 for a phone when u get it free & pay 1 month rental for £25 - thats why the introduced & connection fee of £30 if a customer chose to change to everyday 50 with-in 3 months - I don't think anybody ever got charged though - they were just warned this may happen - some networks do have a 3 month policy for sticking to talkplans - Orange have not......
