The T300 is not more advanced than the 7210 in any way. The 7210 outclasses the T300 in just about everything. But which one gives you the most value for your money, that's an important question I think. In that category the T300 might very well win.

T300 has some of the same things as a T68 except a few functions but the nokia 7210 is not as good as the T68. and the T300 is best in price/quality and you can only save 276kb on the nokia and on a T300 you can go up to 1MB so that is a big thing! nokia's softwear is still alot behind. |

I agree that the T68i outclasses the 7210 in some ways, but it also goes the other way around.
7210 supports Java, integrated stereo FM radio, polyphonic ringtones, exchangable covers, 4096 colour screen(128*128 pixels), speaker phone, (and some say better RF and build quality). T68i has none of these functions.
T68i has bluetooth, e-mail client, a better calendar, more dynamic memory, downloadable themes and animated screensavers, 256 colour screen(101*80 pixels), (and some say a better design and better battery performance). 7210 has none of these functions.
So it is not fair to say that the one is better than the other IMO, it all depends on what functions is better for you.

The hardware related functions will never match however. Screen, speakerphone, polyphony... And you cannot compare the lousy ad on radio the T68i's got to the one in 7210.

I had a 7210 for some days, and besides the screen the t300 wins in every aspect. Trust me, you get a feeling of quality with the t300, whilst the 7210 feels unfinished. Everything about it feels so half hearted. Lousy Polyphonic tones, bad Mms client, to little memory, bad buttons and very expensive. With the t300 everything is so well worked out and it is the most stable phone i have ever owned. I love it! :-)

The T300 can be hooked up with an mp3 player.
yes I know nokia makes an mp3 player. But the only way it interacts with the phone is by providing a handsfree.
The ericsson makes use of the large displays of the phones. And the screen is hardly bigger on the 7210. it is taller but not as wide. Although it is far better(4096 colors and higher res)
Besides the menus suck(just like old nokias in color)
1 menu item on screen at once and that kind of shit.
probably faster sms typing though....
Express on covers is nice when you scratch your phone.
And the 4 chords in the polyphonic ring tones suck. |

How can t300's screen be wider when it's got a resolution of 101x80, compared to 7210's 128x128 pixels?

try switching from 640x480 to 800x600 on pc screen...
did your monitor get bigger?
hope that sinks in... |
