Since I bought my own cruiser service cable for Sony Ericsson, a friend of mine was asking for such as cable here in our country, but we couldn't find one, as I couldn't find for me too. So he decided to build one. The equipment we were using was: (K700 data cable DCU - 11, K750 Data cable DCU - 60). We folowed the instructions from SE-NSE page "How to bouild your own service cable". So we made a cable, but not the same as shown in the guide there. We made the cable only for the phones which have the new FASTPORT connector. And now we want to know for sure if the cable will repair a dead phone? (he has K750, and I w800, you know ), because he is about to play with FAR too so he doesn't want to kill the phone and pay for repairing.

Here are some pictures of the cable:

When connected to computer, the cable is recognized as DCU - 11, so which drivers need to be installed for it to work as service cable? Will Far Manager or any other program recognize a dead phone when connected with this cable? Please answer as soon as you can.

Thanks
