I tried everything but the pics get distorted and hazy

Hello Nay.

I've also tried using Photoshop, and done a lot of experimenting. It's true that the pictures don't come out too good, especially if we're talking about photos. (Drawn pictures works better).

I've found that the best result is saving them as JPEG instead of GIF. Then the phone makes the best of it. But it definitly does not look like it's using 256 colours when displaying the picture...not even 128 colours I think.

Try looking in the "Tips and tricks" forum. There's something about a 256.act file you can load into Photoshop. Hope it helps you.
