Will HPM-70 make my K800i a Walkman-equal phone? |

Just saw a good offer of an original HPM-70 here in my local SE-shop. Just wonder, will there be significant improvements compared to HPM-60 considering that K800 isn't a Walkman phone? I have never thought of having it before until yesterday as the shop has a year-end promo. Have searched the forum here and there, but I find it 'not supporting'. |

yes it will be an improvement, they fit nice in the ear for noise reducing,it is worth it but not quite 'Walkman-equal phone' without the megabass that by the way I never used.

If there's a good deal, get it. At the very least, you'll be able to use your own earphones even if you dislike the earbuds that come with it. My k750 has megabass but I don't use it either. I leave it on bass or normal.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

Equal no, but better yes. Grab it while you can. And if you can get the black is much better. |

Thanks for the reply. So still I can't get the 'mega bass'-like effect with HPM-70? |

How good is that year-end promo price in your town?
AFAIK the normal price of HPM-70 is aroung Rp 350k, but I know someone here who sells it for only Rp 250k.
My suggestion is if the price is right just go for it, you'll get the improvement of your K800 sound when using it.
I myself fell so uncomfortable using HPB-60 (not HPM-60 I think) caused by the size of the earphone.

Hm, I decided not to spend much money on this HPM-70 at the end. Having read a lot of threads revealing 'fake' earphones. I simply can't say which is genuine or fake.. |

Nope it wont!!
My personal opinion is that the K800 speakers are superior.
I have W800 and W810 headsets, they really bad to be honest, the bass distortion is sad, especially for Sony. |

@aremaboy fake earphones are mostly common in non oficcial SE shops, like some markets, or ebay, etc. From formal SE shops you should expect genuine product.

This is labeled SE Shop, but they sell fake MS Pro Duo too..that's why I'm doubtful about HPM-70.. |
