Turning off location display |

I want to turn off the location of the phone being displayed at the top of the main screen (ie the one where you can set the background to)...how can I do this?
I've tried going to Messages->Area Info and turning "Cell Information" off in there but that doesnt work.

it sounds like you've done it right - u mean u are getting the local area dialling code on your screen?? - if you are, uve said how to turn it off correctly
