I have a ericsson 800i..now i love the phone its great but one thing is really annoying me the backlight/standby screen goes off after about 30 seconds i have the brightness on 50%. But is there anything else i can do to keep the screen on anylonger as its really annoying when your playing a game and the screen turns off.

Actually, it doesn't really matter whether it's a K, W or Z, even though these models are very different frtom each other. The time delays for the display light are set by firmware and cannot be changed, except maybe with some tricks with the FAR manager or similar. However, the display light SHOULD be triggered by the keyboard though, so there shouldn't be any problems while playing games on the phone, since most games I know about requires that you press the keyboard now and then. |
