Doesn't the T300 come with a CD-ROM for your PC and doesn't it have PC connectivity (Like PC-Suite for Nokia for instance?)?????

7210 has these things, and you can do whatever you like. Put any midi ringtone you want. There's a midi converter! That's really good.

Otherwise, just wait for some wapsites to offer some. Like if you'd have a 3510 (but there are a lot of wapsites offering polyphonic ringtones for 3510 and all other Nokia ones already).

You don't need any kind of software at all. At least not if you use Ir. Windows has Ir support already. If you plan on using cable I'm sorry to say that I can't help. I have just done it with Ir. Works GREAT !

So what you do is that you simply download your wanted MIDI onto your computer and then you send it over via Ir(or cable). No converting, no problem. The phone automaticlly saves the recived MIDI in "My sounds".

1. Download MIDI from the Web.
2. Enable Ir on your Phone. (Connect->Ir port)
3. Place it next to your computers Ir port
4. Open Windows Explorer and locate your downloaded MIDI.
5. Right-click on the file and choose Send to->Infrared Recipient
6. Your phone will ask you if you want to recive a file. Press Yes !

Done !

hey i did what u said to and it did work, i transfered through the ir port, but there was just one problem, it was soo light that it was next to unhearable. The only way you could listen to it is if you put the phone close to the ear as if you were talkin to someone. Any way to raise the volume ?

Pistvakten and oxin_Rain, i got my SE T300 2day and i found that u can check how much free memory u have and 900kb in total, rubish, i've 1.4mb free!
and as far as the volume dunno still learning, but if ur playing it in my sounds i think u can only hear in when its by ur ear try it when u go thru all the rigntone to select them and that RULES ucan use midi files send over ir, that makes life easier,

The free-memory issue has been talked about over and over again in different forums.

One of the threads...
