I have win xp, a t68i phone, and msi bluetooth adapter. Even though the phone shows the two arrows that mean it is connected to my PC, i can't get the sony/ericsson software (xntd?) to sync w/ outlook - it can't find the phone.
Is it because i am using com5? Please, can someone please post clear, detailed instructions on how you get this to work? Thanks.

Widcomm software (that came with my adapter) allows you to emulate a serial port connection via bluetooth. I have mine connected at Com Port 3 and can use FMA ok...Haven't tried with the SE stuff yet though.

You can use any free port, as long as there's no other app using it and you configure your devices and software to use the same port.
