I just installed firefox onto my computer and when i log on Esato it won't let me view any pictures, insisting that i have not logged in. Yet i can still post. hmm, frustrating.

Which browser are you using? I'd suggest Firefox because there are no issues with it.

If you are insistent on using IE though, just make sure that it's not blocking too many cookies, that may be the reason.

I'm using firefox at the moment. the first time i logged in on firefox it asked me if it wanted to remember the username or password, i clicked yes and its happened ever since

He just told you that he is using firefox.

@Winger
Try to delete the stored paswords and try again. If its not working then try to delete all your cookies and make sure that the settings are set to accept cookies. (at standard it should be set to accept cookies)

If it happens again try hold CTRL and pressing F5 to force a complete refresh of the page.
