Right, i got this off a mate so i could sort it out but i just havent got the time.
Its a Black W810 on Orange, boxed with all accessories, in very good condition 9/9.5 out of 10 and has hardly been used.
The only down side is that the phone wont recognise the memory card, im pretty sure that it just needs flashing with some new firmware but as im without internet access at home for abother 2 weeks im not able to do it so im looking to sell it on to someone who has got the time.
I will post some pics up if there is enough interest.

Could be moisture damage, ask your friend if the phone's ever been wet, used in the rain or in the bathroom with the bath running, etc.
Had a K750i that had the same problem due to water damage - not sure if I'd be interested but thought that may be useful
