Hello!!
I have read in some forums (like this one) that some ppl (including me) have had some troubles when connecting my t68i phone to the computer that uses WinXp, that the Monitoring program doesnīt work, (I installed the original software included in the t68i CD inclueded in the phone package) that doesnīt recognizes the phone or that the Xtnd program doesnīt function. Trying to install, re-install, restart the computer, and everything didnīt work?? oh! BTW I donīt have an originial cable from SE, so I though that was the problem
Well I tried something that worked for me, I went to the SE global support homepage, and I downloaded the "newest" communications software: http://www.sonyericsson.com/downloads/Package1_1_5_1.exe
This file is around 25 MB so it depends in what connection u have how fast this thing will be in ur computer...
It has the Phone Monitor, the Xtend software, and a wizard for u so u can setup ur phone as a modem... well I installed it, and all my problems were totally solved! I can use the Image Editor from SE, the "Sens File" and "Theme Creator" from christersson.org and other software without any problems!!  the only weird thing (that I havenīt discovered why) is that the only way ur phone can be recognized is always clicking on the "Dial Up Networking" (the wizard I told u before that prepares ur phone to be a modem for ur computer), so just let this wizard detect ur phone, and u can open any other program, and then when u have the other programs opened, u can close the wizard... that works perfectly for me... I have WinXP Pro..
Well Folks, I hope that this could help some ppl that have the same problems I had... now I have mad my own themes, installed some pictures, and customizing my phone, so has been really cool!!

can you go into more detail about the dial up networking wizzard.
what do i do exactly.
i didn't think win xp even had a dial up networking wizzard, its got one to find new modems and one to set up a ISP.
