Is there an easy way to debrand a Nokia N73? I am fed up with the usual orange rubbish i have plastered all over it and the current firmware is quite unreliable. I have searched around but have so far only found services where you have to post your phone off - which for obvious reason i am not too keen to do!

Thanks,
Tom

hi there you may want to consider flashing your fone with the N73 music edition firmware which is now available through the nokia software update. if interested take a look on howard forums under the series 60 section. there are some improvements over the normal firmware but also some things that you might miss. take a look and decide for yourself. sorry i cant post a link but it is currently on the first page.

I successfully debranded my N73 last night. I will write up a step-by-step guide as soon as i have a chance! It worked a treat and the latest unbranded firmware is significantly quicker than the orange firmware i had previously!
