I dont think its a smart idea since the cover can be broken easily. I think you have to take away the upper part of the back cover first. But you have to use some power so be carefull. Dont forget that i warned you. Why do you want to take away the cover btw???

OK,
1.remove battery cover.
2.remove battery.
3. Looosen and remove the 2 size 00 cross head screws that secure the rear of the cover in place.
4. carefully unclip the sides, there are 2 clips on each side.
5. the rear cover should now be free at the sides, you need to carefully work the cover UP AND AWAY from the phone VERTICALLY upwards, at the top around the power button. There are 2 large tags that hold the cover here.
6. This will expose the 2 top torx screws (same as the 2 at the bottom) Loosen and remove them.
7. carefully now lift the PCB and internal assembly out of the front casing.

lol --- that's some work to do...i'd work out whether it really be necessary first as it sounds like it's easily broken....only phone i've ever opened is t200 and some other phone...the t200 is sooooo easy...slip the back cover off, undo four screws, pop the cover off and your done...
