Hello everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any hardware to increase the signal strength. I'm with T-Mobile (UK) and have moved to a remote area with dreadful to non existant signal. Looking for something not too expensive.
Anyone got any useful ideas
Thanku

You can get an external antenna for your phone. Most Sony Ericsson phones have an external antenna socket. It is normally covered by a circular piece of plastic, and when removed, a gold looking socket is underneath. That is the external antenna socket.

Isn't the little rubber thing next to the camera lens a plug where you are able to insert a little mirror.

@Spindizzy
Nope, that's an external antenna connector.

I thought it was there as well. If you look to the left of the mirror, there's a small groove/indent to let you pry out the mirror.

Well look at that, there is indeed something that looks like a port under there. Although it is without threads so curious as to how this external antenna is supposed to stay fit.

Actually, most external antennas don't have to be hooked up to a huge wire. A lot are just like the old school extendable ones.

You cant use the HCE 12 on its own it works with the cradle, it fits in the back of the cradle then when the phone sit in there it connects to the little port, ive had one for years with me T610 and it works a treat so i got another for me (shite) M600i
