Sadly no you will need a 3g phone or rent one in japan cheaper.

No you wouldn't be able to, because Japan uses a different network for their phones.

Unfortunately the K750 is a tri-band phone

(Europe and USA)

The W810 and K790 are quad-band phones

(Worldwide)

Hi!

I think you need a phone with UMTS to work in Japan.

I don't think there are GSM networks there.

err... even if you have quad band it still wont work japan uses the UMTS network we use GSM the quad band only meants GSM 850/900/1800/1900

Thanks for all the replies. Couldn't use it in Japan, but it was a great camera,mp3 player and alarm clock!!
