I haven't talked alot in it or anything, most of the time it's just been on standby.
However I haven't used any screensavers, display sleep or anything else like that, does it matter ? (especially the display sleep function, does it work ?)

I've been using WAP quite a bit (to get logos and tones from this site), and I've set the light for orange. Do any of those things use more power ?

Oh and btw. once I've been connected to WAP and shuts down the connection, thus returning to the main screen, the battery indicator has gained a bit (it looks as if there is more power on it), I find this very weird.

- Displaylight should be set to automatic (or off)
- Screensaver should be set to off
- Displaysleep should be set to off

These three things (if set to on) decreases the standby time.

R600 has 90-150h standby.... and 2-4h of talktime... a call that lasts one minute will shorten the standby with 10h.

also... you need to charge the phone 3-4h even if the indicator shows it's fully charged....

is currently developing a firmware version for R600 which will increase the standbytime with ~10-15%

I also own one R600 and the talk time is really very limited! Once, I talk for a few min non-stop and the bar that was previously full drop to small little guage(1/8)!

But something interesting happened! As time passes, the bar slowly gain energy to 3/4 guage! Is not as if it has emf thingy inside or something that bosst the powers but this keeps me wondering!

Anyway, where do you guys go to check out for such hp firmware updates?

I've got 5.048 and R1A (dunno which of those is the right one, so I just write them both).
Btw. I've also noticed the thing where the battery gauge raises by itself. I've only seen it after using WAP (before it shows for instance 2/8, and after it's 3/8)

2 days is good. I can use only 24 hours then recharge.

One more thing my firmware is 6.012 and still got bugs. Sometimes restarts.
