Why is it that everyone has given up on synchronization via gprs since 2003/2004.
The current active services i could find are
https://www.goosync.com/
https://zyb.com/
https://www.o-sync.com/
https://www.mobical.net/mobical/main/ (Best in my opinion)
http://www.scheduleworld.com/tg/cal/day.jsp
http://mightyphone.com/ (trial)
http://www.3molen.com/ (trial)
Goosync is the new kid in the block which was initiated by google. So its future should be promising. Goosync synchronizes your mobile phone to google calender. Dosent support recurring events for now. Work is also underway to sync contacts, notes and tasks too.
ZYB has a cool interface and sync's contacts and calender. Dosent support recurring events for now. Work is also underway to sync notes and tasks too.
O-Sync synchs calender, contacts, notes and tasks but i couldnt test it as server was unavailable.
Scheduleworld performed the syncing ok but has a poor interface and i also had problems of loosing the synced data while i tried to edit an event on the website.Scheduleworld also supports syncing of contacts, calender, notes and tasks. Although the synced notes are nowere to be found on the website.
Mobical was the best of the lot i tested and it synced my contacts, calender, notes and tasks. It also supports syncing of bookmarks but sonyericsson phones dont support that. It also had a good interface although not much user friendly.
Tested Mobical, ZYB, Scheduleworld and Goosync successfully via Airtel MobileOffice GPRS connection.
Post any other active synchronization services you know off here.

Scheduleworld seems to work fine for me between Outllok and M600 etc.
Give it a try.
(Some of the servers you mentioned don't have Outlook Plugin) |

Try www.4smartphone.net. Very good and they back end an Exchange server to support mail, calendar, and a few other services.

It's a very good and cheap hosted exchange service but doesn't work with k800-unless someone has a hint? |

Which one are you talking about? All SyncML services work fine with most modern sony ericsson phones. the problem, if any should be with your servic provider. As i mentined in my earlier post i successfully synced with 3 or 4 of the services i have listed. |

4smartphone
Sony Ericsson support claim that it may not work as SyncML can have different interpretations. This certainly seems the case as it works fine with my S700. I've never been able to get my k800 to work with mobical either. |

o-sync has some issues with K800i or more precisely syncml 1.2 - yes
I'm one of the test handsets it would seem As I have an inclusive MB
bundle it's ok !!!

just been playing with mobical and my k800i - that's sweet. Everything
sent and received, no problems and the settings can be OTA'd - nice

tried out ZYB.com today and the experience has been really good enough, though it went right only the second time...the interface is really really intuitive and cool...very user friendly as well! |

Hi, O-Sync now supports for SyncML 1.2, ready for newer devices. User can attach photo to contacts for free, and uses Linkup or UpdateMe to automate the address book updating during synchronization.

Many thanks for starting this thread and the excellent links you provided. i tried scheduleworld but am not a great fan of Java apps and after starting the install on my PC it wanted to start changing permissions for Outlook which i was not happy with so aborted.
Now O-Sync is a different story was able to use auto setup which after opening an account was incredibly easy. The interface on their site is excellent and syncing was slow the first time as i carry a years worth of Calendar appointments in my phone but since first Sync it is very fast. They also have more services due to be launched but currently it is free and support are very quick in their responses to any questions, they get my vote and am happy to recommend their service.

@simpsons
I assume you are talking about O-Sync, if so on your phone Calendar, Contacts and notes plus the ability to add pictures to contacts. You can add things to your phone or directly to the web based application and update the entries with a sync. The Outlook plug in is coming soon and will be a charged for Service, but i don't need this as i use Yahoo which is a web based service so everything is already saved to the server and Outlook on my Laptop as well as my mobile. I have only been using this service for a couple of days but so far am quite impressed and the customer support and response time is really excellent, which considering it is a free service is pretty amazing.
