Hello everybody,

I have just updated my k800i through seus and it will not turn on afterwards. It will not charge and the computer does not recognize the phone if I plug it in. I don't know if the update actually went through because as it was updating... (where the green bar fills up the screen) it went about 80%, and then went back to the original screen with no confirmation that it was updated.

Help anybody? thanks alot

I think what happen is your firmware/software has stop!

Delete files according to date and time which you last update in C:\\Program Files\\Sony Ericsson\\Update Service\\db\\13740270\\blob_fs and redo the SEUS upgrade.

Good luck!

It's a failed update. Your phone, I'm really sorry to say, is dead. Reupdating via SEUS will never be successful as it won't recognise it anymore. Please, visit the Service Centre for a full re-flash. A successful update always tells you clearly such a thing.

now a days SE phone is a bit smarter. When press 'C', it will go into a different mode. Even if the phone cannot be turn on, when you press 'C' and plug, it still can detect with SEUS.

I have the same experience with my M600. At the end I still manage to re-flash it.

Anyway, if still doesn't work then the last option is to send to service centre.

Hey, I had the same problem, but got it fixed. Take the phone and put it to the charger, let it stay there for about 2 hours (a time so you're sure it would be fully recharged, since no status bar will appear) After that take it from the charger, take your battery (and the sim) out for about 20 sec put it back in. Open SEUS and when you get to the part where it says hold down the C botton and put in the cable, you just do that.
Try and see if that works, it did for me Hopefully it works
