When I tryed, I got a ping time between 600ms and 1200ms!!!
That was using my T65 and GPRS throught my Swedish provider "Comviq".

The "funny" thing is that if you do a port scan of your phone using a fast port scanner, then you can make your phone to "die", well...it reboots. And you get the "Enter pin code" screen.
A simple, but functional DoS attac. =)
The T68 dies as well doing the same thing.

You must have the ip of the mobile
but here in france in most cases, you have a private IP, behind a NAT.
Just immagine... millions of gsm who have public ip... *sigh*
But with UMTS we should all have public IPv6

When using GPRS the network provides the same IP address to all users. It's called a virtual IP and that causes a lot of problems especially with chat programs.

there's no problem with chat like irc msn icq, aim...

But there's problem if you whant to make a server, send files (with chat apps, no problem with ftp, mail...) or conferencig with mic/webcam.
