Bad to use phone while recharging |

Does anyone know if it's bad for the battery's life to use the phone while it's recharging via car charger or desktop charger? |

i think it is bad, some people are saying that it overloads some vba chip in the phone and leads you to have a "no network" problem after all, which is hw issue and rather hard to fix, so if its not too hard, just take a sec to unplug it when you talk... i guess it does not hurt to follow some security procedures....

Hmm thats the first time I have ever haeard that in all the years I am using cell phones. I wonder why this is the case? Is this with all cell phones in general or just SE? Or just T68's?

maybe its bad because whenever you're using your cellphone, you're constantly draining it's battery. while you're charging, however, you're filling up your battery's drained energy reserves. so if you're both DRAINING _and_ CHARGING at the same time, it could be very detrimental to your battery's life. just a theory. The user guide from orange says, "You can make calls whilst charging..."

Not sure about T68, but in the manual for 7650, it says clear:
Please note that you can use the phone while charging. |

Yeah, I mean why would they even allow the phone to start charging phone if you had it switched on.
If it was such a bad idea, surely your phone would say "Hold on Big guy, turn the goddamn phone off first before you stick any stiff metal rod shapel objects in me!"

If it was bad, what were car chargers for then? I can charge a phone in my car while driving but not use it to make a call?

I don't think so. My reason is that most car adapters with speaker phone also charges the batt. So you use the phone while it is charging. |

I use my phone while charging all the time and it hasnt seemed to effect my battery in any way.
