Phone was in normal mode when it rang. I didn't want to answer it as I didn't recognise the number so I pressed the volume key to silence the ringtone. Ever since then I have had no sound on the phone, no rington, no message tone, I can't even play music. Can someone help, as SE obviously don't check their emails!!! |

Welcome to Esato. Where did you purchase the phone from? How long have you had it and have you tried a master reset on the device?

My mum got it as an upgrade for me and I have had it since Sept. It has worked fine until this. I haven't tried Master Reset as it would be my last option. Do you think this will work and do I need a code? |

Firstly check the manual for other options relating to the sound on the device, use Master reset as your final option which should cure it. If that doesn't work send it back as this sounds like an odd problem.

try this - go to the music player, select a track and play with the volume
buttons - I did this once to a Motorola and couldn't get any sound out of
the phone !!! |
