Well i can advice u not wat to get:

Anything made by Mitsumi.

I have had a lot of trouble with mt BT dongle made by them. Im thinking of taking it back and getting a different one. The software is pathetic.

I use the 3Com PCMCIA card an this works very good. File tranfer, DUN connection, fax connection.

U can use the 3com USB dogle, i'ts got the same functions and you can connect it to a USB port.

i use the D-Link USB Bluetooth adapter. It's cheap and it works very very well. it's very small and i haven't had any problems with it. It was very easy. Just follow the instructions that come with it and I was up and running in now time transferring pictures back and forth.

I got it for $42 + shipping. you can't beat it!

thanx for ur suggestions - sorry I forgot to mention that USB is preferable - so I can plug it into a laptop aswell. I read about the MSI dongle - but I heard it was PC to PC only??

so far I have found an MSI dongle for £50
Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter Price: £58.74
Tecom Bluetooth USB Dongle Price £52.88
D-Link Bluetooth USB Adaptor £ 41.85 - which one is best??? they are all similar price.

I will use Outlook, Mypictures & send file for themes & screensavers etc

I have used 3COM USB dongle and found that it software was not good at all to synchronise my laptop running WinXP and Outlook to my T68. Since I changed to a TDK Systems USB dongle. It works just great. TDK are not cheap, but they are worth it. I have spent nights trying to make the 3Com work. The TDK one worked in 5 minutes. My time is really worth more than the few Euros/pounds/dollars etc... difference.

good luck

IMHO, you should get the MSI...

Many people here have got it, there's a whole 20+ thread about it, you can get any info you want and since I did go through the whole thread, everything you mentionned is reported to be working with the MSI usb key and the latest drivers.

You could probably get the others adapters you mentionned to work, but you might have some troubles and as you said, time is money my friend...

The TDK is also great, but I don't know for UK, but here it's like 160$ and you can get the MSI for only like 60$, so for me there's not much more to add...
