bavlondon2, would be great if you take off your pink fanboy glasses from time to time...honestly.

@bavlondon2
Whilst you may compare the N73 and K800 the N93 defiantly can't be compared to a K800 as that's just plain stupid. The K800 is merely a Camera phone big deal N73 is a smartphone plus stereo speakers for both Music and Video. The K800 may have a xenon flash but that is all it has and only takes better pictures in low light conditions big deal.
I find it very rich you find fault with the Nokia's yet totally ignore white screen of death and K800's that die with low batt and refuse to work again.
It seems OK for SE to constantly release firmware updates to fix bugs but for any other manufacturer this is a major problem very strange logic being applied here.
As to video tell me of one SE phone any phone that comes anywhere near to the quality of the N93, simple answer you can't because they don't we get a lot here are SE fanboys and entitled to your preferences but get real and stop talking absolute rubbish it just makes you look stupid.
@jack77777
Of course you would pick a W850 over a N73 as for a start you are a SE fanboy and second of all ones a Walkman phone the others a smartphone and obviously smarter than you are with that type of stupid comment.

Hi Jack77777,
Sorry but felt your comment was also a bit harsh hence my response and have no idea why everything you installed was corrupted as that is very strange. At the end of the day everyone is free to choose what suits them best and from what i have seen the W850 does look like a great Walkman phone i hope you enjoy it. Just a little bored of people slating anything that is not SE it's just so boring.

It definitely feels like we're on part 2 of the N73 and K800i. Again, I'm well aware of the topic. Having said that, I do feel that the comparisons are useless, particularly when you consider that the N-series are smartphones and K-series are camera phones. Exactly what are we trying to achieve? Can you honestly and objectively compare a Ferrari with a BMW? Certain aspects yes but never the whole product.

| bavlondon2Well for the n73/n93 vs k800 in terms of imaging the k800 wins. Infact i was severly dissapointed with the quality of the n93s pictures. |

This article says N93 camera is better than K800. Do we want to believe the public survey results conducted or your statement?

| The w950 is also symbian and also has the added benefit of incorporating flash memory as well as a nice Touchscreen with QVGA resolution and great battery life. Where as the n91 uses old type microdrive. |
|
but SE crippled W950 without camera and wifi. And the UIQ3 in W950 is still very unstable compared to S60. There are also much less software available.

| Overall Nokia release a bigger range but are not consistent enough. Whn they start fixing 4 month old bugs like purple fog or grainey video then they can consider thmelves to be more popular but on the whole if say SE win. |

After 2 firmware releases the P990 (and M600) are still crashing like there is no tomorrow. That is consistency for you.

Hi mib1800
Whilst i get your point of view the easier answer re N91 v W950 is the difference in time between release ones been out for ages the other is just released and as we know technology keeps on moving forward wait till the Music additions of the N80, N73 and N91 with 8gb of storage arrive shortly.
Also i have disagree with part of your statement the M600 with the latest unbranded firmware R9A does not crash and is very stable. It just is very slow when compared to S60 3rd Edition devices and lacks the ability to even customize the home screen with only 4 shortcuts plus main menu. I can't speak for the P990 as i don't own one or want to but it definitely is not as stable or fast as the N93 by all accounts.

Flag the features, I think they're all ugly phones with the N91 the worst of the lot. Including Wifi is clever, but if it's my $NZ900 it'd be heading in the direction of a K800.

i don't think n-series and walkman phones can be compared on equal ground since the n-series are smartphones while the walkman is clearly not.
they each have their own merits but let's remember that they're of a different class. that's why nokia released music versions of some of their phones to compete with SE's walkmans. |
