 | I am wondering about the brower in my T68i. I have noticed it won't connect to MANY WAP sites, including MSN mobile. I am wondering if this is an openwave browser, if so, what version. Is this an XHTML browser?
It is really frustrating to me that I am unable to get to MSN mobile (I could from previous phones). This is my 2nd replacement phone (AT&T thought it might be the phone).

 Any ideas?

 TIA

 | tjdmobile, your T68i has a WAP2.0 compliant browser (well, almost fully 2.0) meaning it does support XHTML. However whether or not you are able to access particular WAP sites or sites with XHTML content depends on the WAP gateway your data account is using. Each carrier in the US uses their own default gateway which restricts the sites you can visit as well as the maximum size of downloads. If you are having problems, try using the WAP gateway. You didn't mention your carrier, but if you use Cingular check out the following page for info:

 | Also, check if your phone's home WAP page doesn't have a link to MSN. It may only work with you WAP gateway if you go there from the link on the home page. That's what I need to do when I'm using the Cingular WAP gateway... T68m -> R2F0004 on Cingular - I want my MMS! |

 | Thank you for your replies. I am using ATTWS, and I have contacted them about this issue. They indicated that this is a problem with MSN, as they are constantly flooded with calls from their customers (not just t68i owners) on this issue. I opened a ticket with MSN on this issue. 2 days later they replied that they are working on the problem, as they were able to verify it on their t68i. After 4 weeks, no change.
I was unaware that Sony Ericsson had a gateway. I will look into that. I have not been able to get things working on either AT&T's or WAPtunnel's public gateway.

--sidebar here: I just picked up the Chatboard for the t68 yesterday: wonderful accessory once you figure out the caps lock issue!
