Transfer SMS from Nokia phones to SE phones? |

Just wondering whether is it possible to transfer SMS located inside a Nokia phones to SE phones and vice versa?
PS. The phones are non-symbian. |

first off welcome to Esato..
secondly i only kno how to get them from a  phone to the comp or vice versa..
i think the pc suite dat comes wid ur nokia phone should allow u to do the same
u can use "My Phone Explorer"(a software) wid any non symbian phone to transfer calls, msgs, contacts, and some other stuff to the comp..

Well i am using MPE, really a nice prog but i'm want to get some SMS out of a Nokia phone and MPE wouldn't be compatible with it. Hope to find out if it possible to export those SMS into the PC and then import those SMS into the SE or the SIM card as valid SMS. |

Heh i want to retain the original sender's name, time and date as well. Not just the message contain the SMS. |

sync with desktop computer with nokia pc suite, then sync the other phone with SE pc suite. Not fast, but reliable, if you take care about the sync settings on each software.
also you can try 3rd party phone editor softwares like MPE or Mobile Navigator 2.

^What do you mean? Those steps just save the SMS into each individual format for both the programs. I need something which will allow me to view/transfer SMS contain inside the Nokia phone to the Sony Ericsson phone as a valid SMS while containing all the data. |
