Nokia N95 wins a "Best Of What's New" award |

The Nokia N95 was honored with Popular Science magazine's "Best of What's New" Award in the publication's annual search for the top 100 technology innovations of the year.

"The Nokia N95 offers an array of multimedia experiences with cutting-edge phone features that will be coming to the North American market during 2007.The N95 delivers, in a single package, what people need in today's mobile environment - entertainment, PDA functions and most importantly, connectivity."
"Best of What's New is the ultimate Popular Science accolade, representing a year's worth of work evaluating thousands of products," says Mark Jannot, editor of Popular Science. "These awards honor innovations that not only influence the way we live today, but that change the way we think about the future."
Each year, the editors of Popular Science review thousands of products to find breakthrough products and technologies that represent a significant leap in their categories. The winners - the Best of What's New - are awarded inclusion in the much-anticipated December issue of Popular Science, the most widely read issue of the year since the debut of Best of What's New in 1987. In the 2005 awards showcase, the Nokia N90 and Nokia N91 were honored by Popular Science.
Best of What's New awards are presented to 100 new products and technologies across 12 categories, including Auto Tech, Aviation & Space, Cars, Computing, Engineering, Gadgets, General Innovation, Home Entertainment, Home Tech, Personal Health, Photography and Recreation.

Its a shame that Nokia are releasing a good phone with a battery life of 30 mins!!
If its anything to go on with the Nokia N80 then it will be utter cack.

I don't dream of owning a nokia even in my next life but the n95 deserves the award. Here's hoping, wishing,praying and begging SE to come up with something way better than the n95. |

Even something similar in features would already be great specially the video recording. Perhaps they can make something like a W810 with 30fps VGA video recording and 3x optical zoom -- that would be awesome!

I seriously doubt they will produce anything for quite a while....especially something "way better than the n95"... aint gonna happen for a long time. |

The battery life on the K800 isnt that amazing.
It's a shame Nokia still dont seem to have implemented a proper flash though, still seems to be an LED  |

You know this cannot be true. Why mention it? It makes you look like your brain has stopped working. We know for a fact all N-series battery can last about 3 days for moderate use (except N80 which came with a much smaller battery)

Unfortunately there are some that unless it has an SE badge it can do no right and if it has an SE badge it can do no wrong. They don't let little things like the facts get in the way either. Sad but true and just for the record the battery life in my N73 and now my N93 is awesome and at least with Nokia the battery they state is what it ships with unlike some we could mention BST-44 where are you? LOL
