It doesn't seem to be phone problem, but a network problem to me.

check that the settings, connectivity, data comm. , preferred service.
Should be GPRS and GSM .... just a quick thought

When you switched phones and simcards (was the other sim on the same network?), it has to be a network problem.

do other EDGE/GPRS enabled handsets pickup the data network when
in the same area as your 810 ?

Sorry by mistake Pmmed u....was outta my mind

In my W810i It does pick up automaticalls...

Like am in Pune...as soon as am outta Pune....it goes to G i.e GPRS..
and wen i am in any zone like say Mumbai..its goes like E i.e EGPRS...

so am pretty much satisfied...and yeah am using Airtel Mobile Office
Everything is O.K in the End; If its not O.K its not the End.

Just do what i did and call your service provider and they will send you the settings. I'm with Vodafone and my settings were sent in a matter of minutes!

If you have changed between two or more SIM cards the settings do not fit with every SIM card. The GPRS, MMS and other settings are individual for every SIM card (number - different phones, different users, different numbers and settings for everyone) so you need to delete all GPRS settings and put them correctly from the beggining again. It should work then.
