k750i camera zoom not working |

I just got my k750i fixed by Orange and whilst they were fixing it they also upgraded the phone to R1CA021 and the camera version to 5.3. Now when the picture size is selected as large 1632x 1224 i cannot zoom in to take a picture, but before the phone was fixed i could zoom in 4x. i was wondering if this problem was due to the change of the software version? or is it something else
p.s. i can zoom in 2.5x on the medium picture and the full 4x on the small picture whilst taking a photo

Yes, the later firmware versions I believe don't support zooming on the maximum resolution I'm afraid!

any one know how to downgrade the firmware version for k750i? if there is such a thing

try taking it back to orange and tell them to restore it to its original firmware. |

wrong, im using the R1CA021 and i can zoom when 1632x1224. is your phone new?
if your mobile is CID36 you can use far manager to downgrade your FW.
To write files MAIN and FS directly with Far Manager

Orange must have changed the camera hardware to the newer one. According to this information here:

That means digital zoom at 2MP, which is not very useful anyway as pc software can do it better if needed, has been removed for the newer K750i like mine (and yours too now). |

I think cause the fault was a mojor one they put a new switchboard - the hardware, so that means my imei has also changed. by the way where can you download far manager? |

I think there must be the zoon problem peculiar with this specific firmware bcoz I have R1DB001 and My Phone gives full 4x zoom on all resolutions
